About the Position

As Dexis continues to increase its business development efforts, additional surge support is needed in the areas of technical proposal writing and proposal review.

Responsibilities

The Vendor will provide business development support services for live and upcoming opportunities with Department of State, Department of Labor, Department of Defense, and Health and Human Services, which may include proposal writing, technical leadership of and/or contributions to proposals, outline development, color reviews, bid process support, copy-editing, and proposal review.

The tasks above are illustrative, but not exhaustive. Other tasks will be assigned as needed.

Qualifications
  • At least seven (7) years of experience in proposal development for U.S. Government (USG) agencies
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills, especially the ability to present compelling written proposals to USG agencies
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work well under time constraints
  • Experience with USG-funded peacekeeping missions
    • Experience with programs such as the Africa Peacekeeping Program (AFRICAP), Africa Contingency Operations Training and Assistance (ACOTA), and the Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI) will be heavily favored. Broad experience with the Department of State Bureau of African Affairs and the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs is also preferable
  • Experience with USG security cooperation/security assistance programming
  • Experience with assessment, monitoring and evaluation of USG programming
  • Familiarity with Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and/or Security Cooperation
  • Experience with the US Department of Labor, Department of State, Department of Defense, and/or Health and Human Services.
