We are looking for a Field Service Technician for our Liquid Handling department at Sartorius. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, calibrating single and multichannel pipettes on customer sites in the Oxfordshire and South UK area whilst delivering excellent customer service. On occasions you will be working in our in-house workshop at our Epsom site.
The team consists of 11 professionals, and we arelooking forward to shaping the future with you.
This position is available full time. You will be working in the field and ideally living near Oxford, Reading or Slough area.
Grow with us - YourResponsibilities
On a daily basis you will be responsible for providing service and customer support during field and in house visits
You will manage all on site maintenance, test tasks for pipettes, diagnose errors or technical problems and determine reasonable solutions
You will produce timely and detailed service reports, issue certificate of analysis for equipment in a timely manner
Follow company's procedures and policies as well as UKAS, ISO, GMP standards on customer sites
You will work closely with technical team and share information across the organization
Do you enjoy building relationship with customers? You will improve customer satisfaction; help maximise customer retention whilst providing excellent customer service
What will convince us
You have completed a HNC/HND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering/Electromechanics or related discipline
You may have experience with laboratory equipment ie. Pipettes, liquid handling, or other equipment, however training will be provided
Field service experience working in the pharmaceutical, biological, or chemical industry following GMP or ISO standards or UKAS accredited laboratory in a similar role would be desirable though candidates from other industries will also be considered (manufacturing, electronics tc.)
Ability to troubleshoot, test and service technical equipment
Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised
Ability to work flexibility and efficiently and to adapt quickly to changing work schedules
Willingness to travel
Strong customer service skills and great communication skills
Full - driving licence
