Your Job

The Savannah River Mill is searching for their next PSQ Facilitator in Rincon, GA! As a PSQ Facilitator you are the dedicated resource responsible for developing overall capabilities with our technicians, providing training support, and leading Learning & Development (L&D) Operations as well as Maintenance L&D training processes.

Our Team

The PSQ Facilitator collaborates with the Central Educational Skills Improvement (ESI) Team to provide support for our mill's ESI Standards. In this role you have an opportunity to return significant value to the Savannah River Mill through partnering with operations and maintenance leadership to deliver an effective performance-based skills qualification (PSQ) work process. This role will report directly to the SRM L&D Leader for direction and performance development.

What You Will Do

*Monitor progress, timeline goals, and provide coaching to the PCLs, Technical Processes Coaches, PCs, Learner and others on the execution of the PSQ Process using monthly employee reviews, Convergence, OJT, and other formal training

*Update & monitor L&D metrics daily/weekly to measure effectiveness for team KPIs using the Progress Evaluation tracking and Skills Capability dashboard tools

*Design and create L&D opportunities based on the needs and losses for SRM team

*Support and/or lead training and document development for PSQ, new initiatives and major projects, e.g., new line installation, major rebuilds, system upgrades, etc.

*Lead and/or facilitate panel reviews, gap analysis, classroom training and in-the-field training

*Meet with operational leaders and supervisors to identify and prioritize training needs

* Interact with customers, associates and other resources to get positive team results

* Communicate well verbally and through writing


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

*Experience using Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

*Experience developing learning document such as standard procedures & troubleshooting guides

*Experience mentoring, instructing, and/or facilitating learning in a manufacturing facility

*Experience with the Performance-Based Skills Qualification (PSQ) Process


What Will Put You Ahead

*5 years' experience with Paper Machine operations

*One or more years of experience as an instructor or facilitator

*One or more years of experience as a mentor and/or field assessor

*Experience using software such as Adobe, SharePoint, or Convergence

*Experience with video creation, including Matterport

*Experience facilitating panel reviews or gap analysis

*Experience on-boarding new hires

*Experience leading a team, initiative or project

*Organizational and administrative skills

* Experience Influencing others without authority
