Position Summary

FedData Technology Solutions, LLC is seeking a Sales Account Representative.

The Sales Account Representative is a field-based salesperson responsible for driving revenue and share growth of various product categories. The primary responsibility for this position is identifying key opportunities every fiscal year and successfully managing them to closure within committed time frames. The Sales Account Representative will develop relationships with key members of OEM Technology Partners to ensure the full depth and breadth of the products are evangelized in the marketplace.

Essential Job Functions
    Drives product revenue and market share growth across various IC, DOD and Civilian accounts by expertly managing sales opportunities from discovery to closure.
  • Consistently meets or exceeds sales objectives.
  • Gains access and manages relationships with executive level personnel and decision makers.
  • Develops a keen understanding of customer decision making processes.
  • Demonstrates the value of a complex product and/or service technologies to advance customer business objectives solution highly differentiated.
  • Uses a complete and expert understanding of the industry, competitors, and marketplace to present a value-oriented proposal.
  • Requires 8+ years of outside sales experience selling complex information technology solutions to commercial and/or enterprise customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders outside of traditional technical decision makers to ensure all value elements of technology solutions are conveyed.
  • Ability to generate consistent sales pipeline growth and accurately forecast deal closure and quarterly revenue.
  • Ability to engage multiple resources, and build consensus while driving long term, complex, and highly competitive sales campaigns.
Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Candidate must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree is required. Eight years of Sales experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Five years of sales experience.
  • Must have intimate working knowledge of Florida Army & DoD customers and current relationships.

Desired Skills:

  • Self motivated with excellent leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of industry standard management and monitoring tools.
  • Must have good architecture design skills with solid understanding of infrastructure fundamentals.
  • Driven focus on customer needs and satisfaction.
  • Must have excellent written, verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Experience responding to large scale government RFI/RFP requests.
  • Experience in solving problems in large-scale network environments (BGP,OSPF).
  • Experience successfully positioning 100/400GB Spine and Leaf Networks.
  • Experience designing network environments in Cloud/HCI environments.
  • Experience designing network environments in Ethernet HPC environments.
  • Successful track record of selling to government end users in Intelligence community, DoD, FSI Sell-To and Sell-thru customers.
  • Experience positioning NGFW and other emerging security technologies.
  • 5+ years delivering consulting level services supporting enterprise infrastructure applications like virtualization, VDI, enterprise management tools, infrastructure management tools,

Working Conditions:

Work is typically based hybrid based with routine performance in Tampa and Annapolis Junction office environments and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.

Physical Requirements:

May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the work day.

Background Screening/Check/Investigation:

Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
