Position Description


DELTA has been tasked to provide to the Security Office and the ASD Suite within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy (OUSD(P).

Candidate will provide executive administrative support to the fast paced, high visibility offices within the Under Secretary for Defense, Policy (USDP) located in the Pentagon.  This support will include: providing administrative support and guidance to senior managers on requirements, options and procedures to facilitate and enhance mission accomplishment; maintenance of executive appointment schedules; liaison support between various offices; facilitation of the flow of correspondence within the component, reviewing for accuracy, content and format within the guidelines and regulations; assign and suspense correspondence; provide input to OUSD(P) Balanced Score Card; assist in destruction of classified records in coordination with staff of Director Executive Secretary for Policy; process office Visit Requests to other agencies; perform escort duty to the office as needed; manage and update key personnel schedules; answer incoming calls, taking messages and redirecting as required; greet visitors and provide direction; perform protocol duties as required; request and book conference rooms; collect materials from Action Officers for daybooks, read-aheads and assemble; monitor Congressionals, FOIA's and other correspondence; serve as office Records Manager;  serve as "ghost" credit card holder; review Official Representational Fund (ORF) requests; prepare travel orders in the Defense Travel System (DTS); and other tasks as assigned.  

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma required; bachelor's degree a plus
 
Experience: 10 years experience in DoD; prior military experience a plus
 
Clearance: Top Secret clearance required
