CoStar Group, Inc. is the leading provider of information services to the U.S. commercial real estate industry. Our suite of services serves as a one-stop shop for commercial real estate information solutions for our clients in more than 50 markets around the U.S. and the United Kingdom. We are currently seeking talented professionals in the Washington DC area with proven experience in advertising sales in a media or web-based environment. Successful candidates will be highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented and have a strong customer service approach. The advertising sales executive will work with existing accounts to demonstrate the benefits of CoStar as an advertising medium, and identify and develop new advertising prospects as well. Responsibilities include daily contact with prospects and existing clients to promote the value of our advertising space, and meeting sales objectives in a deadline-driven organization. Preference will be given to candidates who possess a thorough understanding of office and industrial real estate, including the marketing objectives of the property owner with vacant space. |
| Skills and Qualifications: |

Qualified candidates will have the following experience: Solid computer, web, and excellent communication skills; a high energy level, and regular use of a contact database; experience with advertising sales; B.A. in Marketing or Business preferred (or H.S. plus equivalent experience in addition to all other requirements); Minimum 2 years telemarketing/inside sales experience preferably on the web, b2b publication, newspaper or magazine; Proven track record at assertively researching and qualifying prospective clients; Superb organizational and time management skills.
